Almost 10 years have passed by since the release of Pokemon Gold and Silver by the gaming powerhouse named Nintendo. This gaming company is the king pin for starting a great revolution in the dynamic world of non-stop action packed gaming. Nowadays their recently released games Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver are breaking all sale records in Japan. The unrivaled attraction for these games is cemented by the fact that 1480980 copies of them have already been sold to gaming addicts in Japan. This is presenting great problems for retailers. They are expecting shortage of stock in the near future.
As expected, the new Pokemon games have managed to create ripples in the marketing world. Die hard gamers in different parts of the world are eagerly waiting for release of these games in their countries as well. However, they will have to wait a bit longer. New Pokemon games are going to be released all across Europe and America in spring of 2010.
The history of games based on the concept of Pokemon started a long time back in 1998. At that time the first generation game of Pokemon named as Pokemon Red and Blue was released in USA. It had 151 distinct Pokemon types. This was followed with Pokemon Gold and Silver’s launch in year 2000. This game was an immediate hit among the community of ardent gamers. Then came, Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver. Nintendo’s plans worked and they were able to erase the non-success of its previously released games.
American gamers must be eager for release of these games in spring 2010. Once again Nintendo has cashed in on the popularity of Pokemon’s concept. Its module of marketing is also unbeatable. Nintendo’s pre-release publicity aroused a great interest among gaming community. In addition, cult fan following of previous Pokemon games also contributed towards huge success of these recently released games. Let’s wait and watch what they have in store for us. Well, I am also fed up just as you’re with a very less number of players to see in the game as compared to the number of players in the original series! Though I enjoyed with the skills and actions of the every player in the game but still I wasn’t able to have some of my fave players of Pokemon in the game to play with.

Nintendo systems have created an opportunity to play with the players in the new game version as the real Pokemon! Yes, of course! You can interact with more numbers of Pokemon players in this game as compared to the older versions of the same game. You can enjoy new content and original storylines in the new version of the game which is termed as Nintendo’s Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It is a new added installment to the existing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Older versions of the game allowed the gamers to play with only 14 players of Pokemon but the latest version comes with added 5 players to the previous database of the players thereby totaling up to 19 players. So, gamers can now feel the real Pokemon experience along with a wide variety of Pokemon players to choose from, which voyage to save the world from devastation!

You have to see my brother’s collection of Pokemon paraphernalia to believe what a rage this anime show is among the kids. Everything that hits the market and has something which even remotely looks like a Pokemon, my jackass brother has to buy it. Is it any wonder that producers have come out with eleven hit movies based on the show and now set to add another movie to their list of hits?
I am not joking guys! The eleventh Pokemon movie is ready to send the fans in frenzy. The creators started off the fever with the screening of its subtitled trailer at Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland. The English title of this latest Pokemon flick is going to be Arceus and the Jewel of Life.
The movie featuring some of our favorite Pokemons including Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, the Dragon-type of legendry Pokemons, will also feature Heatran and a special Pichu. The most prominent Pokemon, Arceus will also play a vital role in the movie.
Let me reveal a little about the upcoming movie but I must warn you that it will only whet your appetite for more. Set in Michīna, Arceus and the Jewel of Life revolve around the Alpha Pokemon Arceus. He allows Damos to use an item called Jewel of Life. But, his faith is countered with betrayal and when he comes to get his jewel back, he is attacked. Damos collect an army of Pokemons and assail Arceus who grow weaker before falling into deep sleep, vowing to review everything after waking up from the slumber. After….

Hey people! So Pokemon is all set to start with another brand new season. The series, that has become a cult in itself, is currently airing Season 11, and even though the current season still has some episodes left to be aired, the next season is all set to take the audience on yet another adventurous rollercoaster ride. I know you all are excited about what the newest season of Pokemon will hold in store for us. But for that we will have to wait for some time more. But as per my cousin who is currently in Japan, and where the season has already started airing, the new season is full of mystery, fun adventure, action and excitement. Also this being the final season of the Sinnoh Era, we do expect a highly volatile climax, in keeping with the traditional climaxes of the previous eras across various seasons. How I wish I could be transported to Japan every week just for watching the latest episodes of Pokemon. But, since that is something which is quite beyond my reach I will do the next best thing, I will watch the remaining episodes of Season 11 and will eagerly wait for 13th June, when my favorite show, Pokemon, will start off with the next season.
To tell you frankly, I first saw Pokemon tv show only in the early 2000’s, when my cousin recommended the show to me. The show not only entertains through the small screen but also through the huge variety of merchandise available in the market. I even have a whole collection of toys, trading cards and the other stuff. Until recently, I was certain that having a collection of over a thousand Pokemon toys, I was the biggest collector of the same, but then I learnt that some lady has collected 8000 Pokemon toys. Now that is really cool guys, isn’t it? As for me I have been in love with Pokemon since the day I saw it. I just had to watch one episode and then I was completely hooked. And now everybody in my family knows that nothing can intervene with my date with Pikachu and his gang, every Saturday morning!
‘Pokemon‘ has been around for so long now that it seems that it has always been a part of me. I don’t remember the first time I had seen it, but I am sure I was a kid at that time. And I am watching it ever since. Well, my aim in writing here is not to tell you how much I love the series, but to celebrate the success and fame of this animated series, that it has got over the years.
‘Pokemon’ has been such a big hit that you can find it in each and every prospect. ‘Pokemon’ started off as videogame for the children and soon it became the second most successful and profitable videogame in the world. Whatever, you may say, but I have never in my life seen such a craze and fan following for an inanimate thing. What more can I say about this most loved series, I just hope that it keeps entertaining us for years and years to come.

This time they are out with the brand-new Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) which is an expansion of Diamond & Pearl-Stormfront. This new game will hit the stands on November 5, 2008, nationwide. This latest installment of the famous Pokemon TCG will have more than hundred cards. These cards will include all the latest Pokemon characters like the Gripper Pokemon Dusknoir and Superpower Pokemon Machamp. A number of new features are added to this game, in order to attract its fans. This new version will have features like:
♦New Pokemon LV.X cards, with powerful characters like Dusknoir and Machamp
♦Two new themes are added to the game, which are built around the popular, Gyarados and Tyranitar, characters of the series
♦New strategies such as Trainer cards, are introduced, that can be played in pairs.
♦To attract the fans, theme decks and parallel set cards are introduce with an innovative look and holographs have been added to the game.

Ask any child about Pokemon and he will raise his hand and will tell you never ending stories about the Pokemon toys and Pokemon tea-shirts that he has. My little niece is just crazy about the Pokemon. She is so impatient for the show that any member of the family who does not allow her to watch Pokemon, has his belongings in danger of destruction. Last week, I was watching news and was listening to a particular report with great interest. She came and changed the channel, I shouted and snatched the remote and switched back to the news channel and forgot. After the news was over I went to my room and found my favorite sweatshirt cut into small pieces. (Pokemon guys should pay me back).
After that I brought her a chocolate ice-cream and then downloaded a few Pokemon episodes for her on my PC. Only then she got chilled. This is not all, she is equally crazy about the Pokemon products too. Whether it’s printed on bags or tea-shirts or pencil boxes etc. she wants a picture of Pokemon character on everything she owns. So it’s always easy for me to select a birthday gift for her.
I am not talking about her only; I am talking about all the kids. You go to any children’s store and you will find maximum number of things with Pokemon’s pictures on that. I think, put a picture of Pokemon character on those eatables too which children run away from. Then they will start eating some good things also.
There are many gadgets and toys available in market, which resemble the Pokemon’s characters. You will find children showing their collections to the other kids, and discussing about the powers of the different characters. I am basically not a Pokemon lover, but its craze among the kids around me made me write about this. The Pokemon show guys have really established a brand icon.

Yeah! I know it’s not possible as well. Pokemon has successfully completed 10 seasons and is running in 11th season. I’m sorry Pikachu. I didn’t forget you; no one can forget you. Pikachu is the best Pokemon of Ash Ketchum. You cute, sweet, little Pokemon . How cute you’re “just want to get you right now”.
